Innovation all over the world!

I would like to step aside of Arduino concept and write about something else.

Choice felt on a couple random youtube videos I recently discovered. As you already can see it is about innovation in different areas.

As shown below, a true nature-friendly device.

Shaking Cherries @ Payson, Utah USA

As you can see here, a machine has been made to picking cherries by shaking the tree. It basically consist of two separate vehicles (tractors): A Shake Plate Tractor and A conveyor tractor to catch everything that falls down.
Pretty useful device that replaces pretty cheap labor that can be done by poles or students.

You might think: "Oow a shaking machine, BORING!", Check the following video right ahead!

Hedge removal (DESTROYER) Machine in New Zealand

Well how about a 3 meter long steel blade spinning around @ 1000 RPM? This is what New Zealand has accomplished in their war against WILD HEDGE PLAGUE. It can also be used as a self-defense device in case of a zombie attack.

More spectacular innovation is shown in the video below.

Tiger-Stone Tiling Machine, The Netherlands

As you can see this is BIG! Who would just think that this back-breaking job can be done by a machine? OK, this is semi-machine made road, but this is a great advantage for the road construction sector. Great job done by the dutch engineers!

The mechanistic monsters shown above are very useful, but (still) not affordable in poor countries.
In the next and the last video a MAGNIFICENT invention is shown.

Circular bicycle-powered saw, made in Czech Republic

This is where engineering, welding, A LOT of fantasy and a very narrow budget meeting together! A true man-made and man powered machine. Looks like it is not so difficult to use. As an addition to this gorgeous design, I would add a heavy flywheel to gain more power.
Or why not use a tandem?

Well here you go! Again an educational post on KA-CHING ;)

If you've got a suitable name for one of these machines, do not keep it for your own but let the world hear it, by posting it in the comments below!
